Face moisturiser specifically formulated for Oily & Combination Facial Skin – Upgraded Low PUFA Formula

The foundation of the Pure Primal Skin FACE Moisturisers remains free range, grass-fed Tallow.
The benefits of Tallow for skincare are:

• Rich in antioxidant fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E & K – all contributing to skin health, rejuvenation and healing.
• Natural anti-inflammatory & antimicrobial properties – ensuring skin remains healthy and promotes healing.
  It helps alleviate redness caused by sensitivity or skin conditions.  It’s soothing properties make it a gentle remedy for eczema-prone skin.
• Being bio-identical, it penetrates deep into the skin to nourish skin.
• Tallow’s lipid composition seals in moisture, preventing dryness and dehydration.  Dehydration & Dryness stimulates skin to produce more oils, that could lead to clogged pores and breakouts.
• Tallow restores and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier.  It further has a natural SPF, protecting our skins from sunburn.

Added to this foundation of Grass Fed Tallow are the following LOW PUFA oils: MCT Oil, Jojoba Oil and Hexane Free Cold Pressed Castor Oil

Each of these oils futher contribute to balancing skin oils and nourishing the skin.

• MCT Oil – Improves skin elasticity, reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and provide a non-greasy moisturising effect. Its antimicrobial properties can also help soothe and treat skin infections.
• Jojoba Oil – Known as a moisturising oil, it balances sebum production, reducing wrinkles, and promotes healing of skin. It can also soothe irritated skin, protect against sun damage, and help to reduce/clear acne.
• Hexane Free Cold Pressed Castor Oil – contains several moisturising fatty acids (including ricinoleic, linoleic, and stearic acid) that—when applied topically—can boost hydration and address certain skin conditions.

Additional LOW PUFA Components and Aroma/Essential Oils are:

• Camellia Oil: Is an excellent moisturiser, leaving skin feeling soft, smooth, and supple. It is easily absorbed and helps to form a protective barrier that locks in moisture. The high antioxidant content, including Vitamin E, helps to protect skin from environmental damage and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Camellia oil’s anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe and calm irritated skin, potentially benefiting conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea. It can help to fade hyperpigmentation and dark spots, promoting a more even skin tone. Camellia oil can improve skin elasticity, leading to a firmer, more youthful complexion.
• Essential/Aroma Oils of *Lavender, *Patchouli, Bergamot, *Lemon, *Orange & Ylang Ylang (*Organic).
  Patchouli Oil – Minimize scars, regenerates new skin cells, which keeps the skin looking young, healthy and vibrant. Patchouli oil reduce inflammation and actually prevents skin infections!

We suggest you use the Pure Primal Skin Clean Face – For All Skin Types Oil Cleanser, as well as the Detoxifying Face Bar or Neem & Turmeric Soap Bar or any of the Facial Soap Bars, prior to moisturising for optimal results.

Any of the Pure Primal Skin facial serums/masks/eye creams or sun protection products can be used in combined with our face moisturisers to get optimal results.

Why is this?
In layman’s terms – commercially mass produced creams (natural and chemical) contain water (aqua), which requires an emulsifier to be added to these products to keep the oils and water in a blended state. This in turn keeps the cream soft and fluffy in all weather conditions.

The second ‘non-natural’ component that needs to be added to these commercial products/creams is a stabiliser.  Stabilisers/preservative are included to prevent the water from reacting with the other components and oils.  Without these stabilisers/preservatives, these creams will eventually go off (destabilise), i.e. they begin to rot and degenerate, becoming totally unusable and very unhealthy.

So, we dislike emulsifiers as well as stabilisers/preservatives – which ALL water based products need – due to their negative and harmful side effects.
