Primal Allulose Ⓥ – Natural Sugar Alternative
Allulose is a natural ‘rare sugar’ found in small quantities in fruits like figs and raisins.
Regular table sugar consists of sucrose, a disaccharide, composed of glucose and fructose molecule. Allulose is a monosaccharide – it consists of a single saccharide (sugar).
Primal Allulose Ⓥ is Organic & Non-GMO

It’s about 70% as sweet as sugar but has 90% fewer calories, making it virtually calorie-free.
Allulose does not count toward net carbs because it is not metabolised by the body.
It has a zero glycemic index – doesn’t affect your blood glucose or insulin, making it a viable substitution for people with diabetes or Keto/Low Carb lifestyle.
Allulose acts like sugar when used in baking. Can be caramelised and retains & adds moisture to foods.
Sugar substitutes (sugar alcohols) doesn’t caramelise and they have a ‘drying’ effect on foods.
Allulose can be used as a direct sugar replacement or alternative. Sweetness Ratio [Sugar : Allulose] = 1 : 0.7
- 1 tsp Sugar = 1 ⅓ tsp Allulose
- 1 cup Sugar = 1 ⅓ cup Allulose
It also has no aftertaste, as in the case with of stevia, monk fruit and the sugar alcohols.
Does not contribute to cavities – unlike sugar, allulose doesn’t promote tooth decay.
An additional benefit is that Allulose does NOT negatively impact the gut in the way sugar alcohols do (e.g. xylitol, maltitol, and erythritol).
Safety & Potential Side Effects:
Considered safe for humans AND pets.
However, excessive consumption (generally over 15+ teaspoons per day) may cause temporary stomach discomfort, such as bloating, gassiness, or diarrhea.
