Ingredient descriptions for the ALL SKIN TYPES:
Hexane Free, Cold Pressed Castor Oil: Offer benefits of moisturisation, provide a protective barrier against dryness, and potential anti-inflammatory effects. It can also help to reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks, and it may help lighten age spots.
MCT Oil: Improves elasticity, reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and provide a non-greasy moisturising effect. Its antimicrobial properties can also help soothe and treat skin infections.
Jojoba Oil: Known to be a moisturiser, it balances sebum production, reducing wrinkles, and promotes healing of skin. It can also soothe irritated skin, protect against sun damage, and help to reduce/clear acne.
Tamanu Oil: Offers various skin benefits, including wound healing, scar reduction, and anti-aging properties. It’s also known for its moisturising, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant qualities, which can help with skin concerns like acne, psoriasis, and eczema.
Neem Oil: One of the significant benefits of this oil is for dry and sensitive skin in its ability to soothe and calm irritated skin. High in anti-oxidants, fatty acids (low PUFA) and vitamin E which penetrates the outer layer of our skin, thus extremely effective in healing dry and damaged skin. Neem smooths wrinkles, stimulates collagen & reduces eczema and acne. All in one!
Marula Oil: Marula oil will help with skin problems like acne, eczema, blemishes, dry skin, ageing, elasticity and much more!
Steps for using the Oil Cleansing Method (OCM) with Clean Face suitable for your skin type :
Step 2 – Apply it on your face and neck and massage gently. Too much massaging may lead to existing breakouts/acne cysts to get worse or spread, so be careful not to overdo it.
Step 3 – Wipe away the oil (and make-up) with a damp washcloth – preferably cotton cloth and use lukewarm to warm water.
Step 4 – If your face feels excessively oily, consider using one of our natural facial soaps (fat/oil based) to wash off the excess oil without drying out the natural lipid layer of the skin.
Avoid using hot water – can burn and dry out your skin.
Step 4 – Pat your face dry with a natural fibre towel (cotton, bamboo, hemp, etc).
Step 5 – Apply your moisturiser to your cleansed facial & neck skin. Or if you choose to, first apply one of our facial serums before applying your skin specific moisturiser for healthy and soft skin.
