Natural Scented Tallow Bath Soap
We replaced the water with freshly brewed Rooibos Tea. Then added essential oils of Rosewood & Geranium.
We never discard anything in the Pure Primal Skin kitchen, thus we add the steeped botanicals into the soap batches afterwards to give them an even more intense scent.
Only certified grass fed, free range tallow is used for these body and face soaps that are natural, safe and gentle.
Tallow provides skin friendly antioxidants, fat soluble vitamins, essential fatty acids and has antimicrobial properties – all contributing to preventing skin problems.
Added to the base of these soaps are different natural scents, carefully selected and tested until the ideal essential oil combination and overall pleasant scent was found.
Also contains organic botanicals, nourishing oils and pure essential oils.
All the Pure Primal Skin soaps are hand poured and cut, then cured for 4-5 weeks, before being individually packaged.
Being naturally cured and non-glycerin soaps, they will lose moisture over time.
This means they will weigh less than the initially weight (140-150g / or weight as indicated) as they ‘age’/cure further.
There is a benefit to this!
These soaps will last longer while using than soaps that are freshly cured (or contain glycerin, which prevents moisture loss).
Pure Primal Skin soaps are grey-water system safe, kind to the environment.
Eco-friendly/Biodegradable packaging:
- Wrapped in wood cellulose ‘cello’ bag that is bio-degradable and compostable. This also contains the scents of the natural aroma oils in the soaps for longer.
- Packed into a biodegradable carton box for protection and ideal for gift presentation.

Ek het verlede jaar ‘n hele paar sepies gekoop en gebruik nog aan die oats sepie vir my gesig (droog nie my vel uit nie) én die boerseep vir klere (3 jarige se potty training oepsies). Dís hoe ekonomies dit is! Ek het nou weer vir ons van die koffi-en-mint seep en ‘n tea-and-roses sepie vir myself gekoop. Die mint geur werk goed vir mans (need I say more?) en die rose sepie voel luuks vir myself! Dis lieflik, maar dit skuim baie minder as gewone badkamerseep, maar dit maak skoon, borrels is nie nodig nie!

I bought the Citrus Burst flavour and love the fresh citrus smell and the soap leaves my skin feeling clean without being stripped of its natural oils. When I started using it, I had to work softly with the exfoliation properties of the soap, but the longer I’m using it, the soap exfoliates my skin and leaves it feeling clean without being stripped of its natural oils and the epidermis (outer layer) is getting healthier and stronger.
