Yes, our Tallow Body Butta is a more “solid” body butter but will still easily melt into a rich creamy lotion with warming between hands and skin contact.
Use head-2-toe on any and all skins.  Lovingly nourish and heal the most sensitive skin.

The foundation of the Pure Primal Skin Tallow Body Butta remains free range, grass-fed Tallow (Cattle/Sheep).

Because our skin is biologically similar to Tallow – both containing fats which help maintain skin cell integrity and tone and allow for easy absorption of nutrients as well as containing the healing fat-soluble Vitamins A, D, E & K, our Body Butta’s promote smooth and healthy skin all-year-round.

The benefits of this golden Tallow are:

• Rich in antioxidant fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E & K – all contributing to skin health, rejuvenation and healing.
• Natural anti-inflammatory & antimicrobial properties – ensuring skin remains healthy and promotes healing.
  It helps alleviate redness caused by sensitivity or skin conditions.  It’s soothing properties make it a gentle remedy for eczema-prone skin.
• Being bio-identical, it penetrates deep into the skin to nourish skin.
• Tallow’s lipid composition seals in moisture, preventing dryness and dehydration.
• Tallow restores and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier.  It further has a natural SPF, protecting our skins from sunburn.

Added to this foundation of Organic Tallow are the following oils:  Hexane Free Cold Pressed Castor Oil, Extra Virgin Avocado Oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO).
Each of these oils futher contribute to nourishing and protecting skin.

• Hexane Free Cold Pressed Castor Oil – contains several moisturising fatty acids (including ricinoleic, linoleic, and stearic acid) that—when applied topically—can boost hydration and address certain skin conditions.  Ricinoleic acid, a key component of castor oil, has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce swelling and redness associated with skin conditions like acne or sunburn.
• Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Avocado Oil –  is rich in oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat, which helps to deeply moisturise and hydrate the skin, preventing dryness and flakiness.  Reduces inflammation, promotes collagen production, and helps with wound healing and skin regeneration.  It soothes irritated skin, protect against UV damage, and potentially reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots.
• Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) – is a great emollient, i.e. it helps to moisturize the skin by locking in moisture and preventing water loss, leaving it soft and supple.  Rich in antioxidants, such as vitamin E and polyphenols, can help protect skin cells from damage caused by free radicals and UV radiation. Has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties can help to soothe and heal minor skin irritations, cuts, and burns.  May help reduce inflammation and redness, making it beneficial for conditions like eczema or sunburn

Lastly, they have RAW Beeswax (Local) added to protect and keep the hydration of the skin at optimal levels by creating a breathable ‘shield’ on the skin’s surface.  It is also anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.

Different aroma/essential oils contribute their individual properties to our Tallow Body Butta and also provide different scents/aromas to choose from – dependant on your individual preferences.

Apply our Tallow Body Butta after a bath/shower or just when your skin needs extra moisturising.
We suggest you use our Organic, Certified Free range Pure Primal Skin Bath Soaps (based on traditional Boerseep recipes) or any of the Huguenot Bastille Soaps (Tallow & Olive Oil Soaps) in conjunction with the Tallow Body Butta for optimal non-toxic, skin cleansing and nutrition guaranteeing you a glowing healthy skin.

Alternatively there is also the Limited Edition Castile Soaps (made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil) to choose from – when they are available.
