These TALLOW Body Butta’s are a more “solid” body butter but will easily melt into a rich creamy lotion with skin contact.
Because our skin is biologically similar to Free Range Tallow – both containing fats which help maintain skin cell integrity and tone and allow for easy absorption of nutrients as well as containing the healing fat-soluble Vitamins A, D, E & K, our Body Balm promote smooth and healthy skin all-year-round.
Added is pure, cold and first pressed local Virgin Olive Oil and Castor Oil (Hexane Free) – we know the farmers and their sustainable farm ethics which make these oils even more precious.
Virgin Olive Oil Olive is rich in antioxidants – vitamin E, polyphenols, and phytosterols which help protect the skin from premature skin aging & restore skin smoothness.
A rare compound in olive oil – Hydroxytyrosol – prevents free radical damage to the skin.
Virgin Cold Pressed Avocado Oil is rich in oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat, which helps to deeply moisturise and hydrate the skin, preventing dryness and flakiness. Reduces inflammation, promotes collagen production, and helps with wound healing and skin regeneration. It soothes irritated skin and protect against UV damage.
Castor Oil is primarily composed of the monounsaturated fatty acid ricinoleic acid, which makes up 89-95% of its total fatty acid content. Castor oil may help fight swelling and pain caused by inflammation when applied to your skin and calm irritated skin.
We suggest you use our Organic, Certified Free range Pure Primal Bath Soaps (based on traditional Boerseep recipes) or any of the Huguenot Bastille Soaps (Tallow & Olive Oil Soaps) in conjunction with the TALLOW Butta for optimal non-toxic, skin cleansing and nutrition guaranteeing you a glowing healthy skin.
